| This is the story about Samantha Smith. As a young child, her parents
are killed and she is abducted. She spends her youth in private schools
with no memory of these events and no real consideration to the nature
of her condition.
When she graduates from high school, she is introduced to the life that she will lead. She is told that, if she learns well, she will have a chance for survival.
